In a small sleepy town of Latvia, Kurgi Tower is a visitor's center serving nearby farms and ski lifts. The proposed tower is a total height of 115’ (35 meters) consisting of highly-curated observation landings and event spaces. The visitor first approaches the tower and descends slightly into a space embedded below ground, and proceeds to a series of ascending flights, each offering an exciting series of apertures towards the surrounding biosphere. Each ascending floor contain spaces with ample room for comfortable seating. A balcony winds around key points of the tower, opening up to a 360-degree view of the property. On the fifth floor, seating and a table may be included in the center event space, and leaves plenty of wall space where heating sources may be installed.
